In areas with frequent moisture we offer a waterproof polyurethane option. These can be painted with the same paint used on your wood shutters in other parts of your home for a perfect match. If your wood shutters are stained, a color match on the poly can also be done to preserve the continuity of the look you are going for in your home. Areas where you may consider a polyurethane material instead of wood include the: kitchen sink window, shower windows, bathrooms, laundry and mud room windows, and anywhere else you may have frequent moisture.
